Paradise Found!
Swarna:
We put on our cruise dress..and walked to River City mall again..We went to the back of the mall,where the dock is and waited for the cruise ship. The weather was so very pleasant and God was smiling upon us..His grace and presence were covering us..Everyone said its raining cats and dogs in Bangkok...But we enjoyed absolutely wonderful weather coz God is the one who brought us here and told that He has gone before us and set everything ready for us...We felt like Royalty!

Swarna:
We climbed aboard the ship with cute thai girls welcoming us with their sweet smile...





Swarna:
We went to the top deck and sat in the nearest available seats..But since we were two people, they took us to a different place..Yes,we are the royalty right since everything was arranged by God...They took us to the best seats in the ship...We could see the stage upclose and it came with the bonus of watching the dancers in backstage as well...







GypsySoul:

Live, laugh, and enjoy lots of fried food!

They seated us at a cozy, candlelit table for two, right next to the stage at the edge of the water. We got front row seats to the graceful traditional Thai dance as well as to the parade of beautifully lit landmarks and buildings on the shore. 



Swarna:
The food was good but not memorable... we piled up our plates anyway...There was magic in the air...Occasional drops of water splashing on us,Watching the beautiful bangkok from the river in a perfect weather, and an amazing singer in the background..Oh yeh...This is vacation!!



I am tongue-Thai'd !








Quail eggs and mango sticky rice! YUM!!! Cruise calories don't count!






             Wat Arun, Rama viii bridge, and the Grand Palace were shimmering with a golden aura!




Swarna:
There was this amazing singer....She was too good...She sang the English songs so very well....Even while she was doing some tasks in the backstage,her beat did not change ..



It was mesmerizing to watch her..

The air was pulsating with upbeat music. We were gliding so close to the surface of the water we could almost touch it. Good company, good music, good food...it had an intense irrational reality of a dream! It was a surreal feeling, a moment crystallized in time, too good to be true! I wish I can bottle this up!

We walked back alone in the night in the lonely alleys of Bangkok with no fear ..God had commanded His angels to protect us...As soon as we could see the hotel entrance,it started raining as though the clouds were waiting for us to get in...And yeh it rained cats and dogs all night...

It turned out to be most memorable moments in Bangkok..We decided that this is a must do in all our upcoming bangkok trips...💓 


Already dreaming about our next vacation, Papu!!!

City of Angels Krung Thep Sep. 28th. Wednesday: GypsySoul:  It is monsoon season in Thailand. This year has been unusually wet throughout the world and the forecast for Bangkok was 80% rain every day. We were praying for good weather but also packed an umbrella and some ponchos. When we started walking towards River City Mall, I was looking for rain clouds. We knew God would take care but was also cautiously scanning the skies. The sun was shining! Praise God for a Glorious Morning! Swarna: Two minute walk from Talakkia Hotel was this River City Mall...Perfect Location for a Hotel...Hats off Mika for all your hard work and reserach on this...As we went there, a Get your guide Van was waiting on the mall entrance...Our Guide was a sweet Pattima Sarah and She was very friendly...She kept calling us INDIANS though...Took Printouts and IDs but there never asked for anything...Just a name was enough.... GypsySoul:  Pattima!!! She's probably younger than me! We boarded a comfortable...

Off To Cambodia!

Thursday, Sep 29, 2022 Up, Up and Away! Swarna: Bye Bangkok...Oh wait...We will be back in two days...hehe...Taking up flights back and forth made us feel we were travelling for many days...Even the days slowed down so that we could cherish every moment.. Again a miracle from our awesome God.. Such friendly people...The WOMAN there ( Mika found it hard to accept that fact somehow 😏) was so friendly...She came and stood with us and send us off while we were waiting for taxi ...We felt God's favor surrounding us and it reflected from the people we met... GypsySoul: He came early to the hotel (I still think he is a man! 😅) to help us check out and was hanging out with us, taking our picture and waiting for our taxi. I was able to get a glimpse into his personal life while Papu went to buy us some breakfast snacks. Good natured person! He made the taxi come inside the courtyard closer to us and helped us load  the luggage. Swarna: It was drizzling still in the morning and I got some ...
