Art of God
Onederz did wonders! It was a cozy hostel with private rooms. The vibe in the main hall was boho hippy, backpacker paradise. There were books, lounging area with a nice cafe. We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. So we got to have the comfort with a fun vibe.
We asked Sam to pick us up at 4 am while it was still dark. We wanted to watch the sunrise at the serene Srah Srang pond.
Srah Srang, known as the "Royal Bath" or "Royal Bathing Pool," is a 10th-century reservoir in Angkor Archaeological Park
Papu and I listened to some worship music, read the Bible and spent some time in meditation and prayer as the sun slowly started rising.
Psalm 5:3: "In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly."
What a beautiful sunrise! The water reflected the whole scene like a mirror.
Psalm 143:8: "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life."
Sam got us some local snacks and biscuits to try. After hanging out for a while, it was time to head to Banteay Srei.
I was so glad that we were able to enjoy every minute in Cambodia and squeeze in amazing experiences in the short couple of days we were there.
