Rise and Smell the Tod Man Khao Pod!

GypsySoul:

Come on, Papu! Jet lag is for amateurs 😉
Let's follow that yummy smell and see where our noses lead us. Bangkok sure doesn't disappoint!

When we bit into those corn fritters fried fresh, cut in pieces and dipped in the sweet spicy sauce...mmmmmm!!! It was an explosion of flavors and textures,,,hot, crunchy and absolutely delicious!

I hope they have street food in paradise 😛

We started walking down the street eager to explore more culinary delights.

Siapao or Steamed Buns

😂😭😂That exact moment when I realized that "Vegetable Festival" is not the name of a dish 😂😭😂

Haha..Mika was like ..Oh Yumm..Give me one more of that vegetable festival...That moment I was too stunned to speak as I realised something strange and totally unnecessary was going on in the city...Seriously Who would keep festival for vegetables?? and that too when we visited?? Quite Hilarious Actually ...

We turned into a side street and saw a shop selling deep fried sweets with coconut filling. They were also stuffing some rice and beans into leaf bundles. We sampled some and strolled down the street.

Comedy Alert
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

This is where Mika tried to snatch the meat stick of the person standing there...She said ..Is that MEAT?????? The person quickly grabbed her meat and laughed..YES it is!!!! Anyway we were finally relieved that meat is available somewhere in the city...

What a BIG relief that was!

Time for some dessert! How about some fresh fried twisted donuts?

Dipped in condensed milk! Mmmmmm....this is heavenly!!!

😹😹😹😹😹😹
Comedy Alert !!!

We were sitting on a small stone bench in a peaceful bus stand and was enjoying the yummy savories and as the following video popped up in the phone...We couldn't control our laughter as the plastic bags and middle of road eating reminded us of something else u see in Indian streets..  And also thinking how mika almost pounced on the other person's meat....We laughed till our tummies ached and our laugh streak began here!!

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
In my mind I felt like I was featured in Food Network but when we saw the video with so many plastic bags strung on my hand, with a bird's nest of a hair and eating like I have never seen food before!!! We burst out laughing 😆

Look at that color! Taro flavored coffee....

Papu was a little hesitant at first about the ice in the coffee. But God had been so gracious to us. He gave us iron tummies while we were on vacation! We ate everything and drank everything from street stalls and we were able to enjoy without any consequences.

That is a huge miracle - an answer to our prayers!

💖💖💖 Thank you God! 💖💖💖

Swarna:
Cold Coffee was definitely on my list.. and I got very excited to see that....It was very yummy with loads of condensed milk and crushed ice...Divine!!!

Such a Quiet and Peaceful Talakkia....We loved it from the start...Empty Lobby where we cud even sleep and a private place to freshen up...Such friendly people...

GypsySoul:
Talking of friendly people...

Tommy, my mystery Angkor Zipline friend, got me a Thai esim to use in Thailand. As soon as we landed in Bangkok, I was able to use unlimited highspeed internet for fraction of the cost! God's favor 💜

We checked in the bags, put on some make up and voila!
